Many of us run small SSD boot drives and a bunch of old Windows update files are unwelcome.

Delete Files With Names Too Long
If you run into this problem, try this - SuperDelete
I have occasionally run into this. Normally it is only an occasional file. A backup program once created tons of files that would not delete. I finally got rid of them with my own terminal commands but this program would have been nice.
Ghacks.net give an explanation.
If you want to check if your drive has files with names that are too long . . . TLFD (To Long File Detector) It defaults to 200 but Windows has a 260 character limit so change it.
Just because some files exist, does not mean anything needs to be done. In my case the files were consuming tons of space and I wanted to remove them.
