Galaxy S7 - Keep Your S6

My new Galazy S7 is great but I have not yet found anything worth upgrading from the S6.
The screen is super sensitive and you can not hold the S7 without activating something by accident.

I put a cheap case on it which took care of the accidental activation problem. I the case keeps you from touching the beveled edge of the screen.

I also grabbed a cheap glass protector which may reduce the screen sensitivity too much. Still trying it out. The glass protector did  fit very well and the case did not push it up.

I do like that the S7 can add an extra SD card up to 200 GB. I just grabbed a 64. They are cheap.

I'm always on the latest Galaxy because someone down the food chain needs to upgrade but the S6 is every bit as good as the S7 from what I see so far.

My New Sprint Galaxy S4

Here is a root method. I'm waiting for more information.

Why did I leave my S3? My son needed a phone so he took my S3 and I grabbed an S4. If you have an S3 just keep it and don't bother with the S4. Even if you are buying new, the S3 is cheap or free on contract and the best phone I've ever had. S4 is great too but no great improvements that matter to me.

I ran FreeGS3 on the old S3 and the new profile will not update so I'm needing to get a stock ROM on it to update. I'm trying to find a stock rooted ROM. Maybe a reflash of FreeGS3 will do it.

One thing that get me on the new phone is the lag at times. I'm not accustomed to tapping and waiting for anything to happen. I guess once rooted it is hard to go back to the bloat.

Sprint

Here is tutorial for setting up Airave behind router.

My Florida Sprint signal was unusable. They sent me at no charge an Airave. I did not want it between my modem and router so here is what I did to add it to my router. (modem - router - Airave)

We tested with moden - Airave and it worked so then tried modem - router - Airave.

Edit: I could never get the Airave to work properly behind the router. It works fine before the router but does hit my internet speeds some, can't be helped.. Sprint bars now are huge. What am I going to do with the GPS antenna cable across the floor? (Started out by window to connect then moved to get rid of cable.)

Following is what I tried:

Sprint Airave Settings (do not change the Airave Settings)

This is to set up the Airave:
Yes you need a GPS solid green.
Connect Airave to router:
WAN port on Airave to LAN1 on router.
On Router side I assigned Airave a static IP by going to
DHCP Server and manually Assign IP to Airave MAC address
(IP of  x.x.x.254 stay at or below 254 for last number)
Now port forward 5060-5061 UDP that IP for the Airave
(I couldn't get it working so) (but Sprint said it looked good on their end)
I also set up DMZ for the Airave IP
Moved the Airave some distance away from router (3 ft works for me)
Don't know which of the last two did it.

To connect phone:
Set roaming to Sprint only
Turn off phone
Remove battery for 30 seconds
Restart - it should connect
Reset roaming to NOT Sprint only. (otherwise it won't release the Airave when traveling)

The mobile light blinks green and does not stay solid. Amber light is trouble. The broadband
and gps lights will be solid green.

Oh crap, mobile went to amber - now what?
