XP/Win7 Network Can't See Each Other

One problem might be Windows 7 is set to "handle" networking instead of "Use user accounts".
Find these settings in Network and Sharing > Advanced Sharing:


Some day I'm going to find out what "Home Group" is and what it does, way down on my list of things to do.
