Boot USB Within VirtualBox & VMware

Booting s USB stick in VB has changed over time.We can now select the USB drive in VB.
Ventoy
First, understand that when Ventoy installs it enable secure boot support.
This is great but some systems won't boot even if secure boot is disabled.
To remove secure boot from Ventoy, start ventoy2disk, uncheck the option and refresh the flash drive.
This is good to know if all of the following is done and the flash drive still won't boot.

In VB make sure Extensions Pack is installed (go to tools > install) find downloaded file.
Start VB
Make a Win10-64 Machine
8GB RAM
1GB HD
4 CPUs
Enable EFI
Uncheck Floppy, Optical & Hard Disk
The vdi port is probably set to 0.  Since you removed the Hard Disk this may not matter.
You need to keep VB from trying to boot from the vdi If the "hard disk" is present you would need to choose another number.
USB 3.x (try 2 if needed)
USB select the plugged in drive filter from the list
>If you use a different usb slot in the same PC, in VB machine settings remove the usb filter and add it again.

VMware Workstation (I'm not sure about this anymore)
Set up machine
Add Scsi drive (actual device option)
Attach to disk number from Disk Management or Diskpart

Curl, Wget, Winget & Powershell Install or Download Commands

After the mess I made in previous posts this summary might be useful.     Thanks PatchMyPC, the great and powerful program downloader and up...
